The Cave

"The Allegory in the Cave" explains the situation of the people dwelling in the cave simply listening and hoping to see whats going on out in the world. The Cave dwellers do not know what it is like in the world, they have been in the cave all of their life. These people our held captive in the cave where they can achieve nothing, but they will never fail at anything. The story explains a lot more than the story of the cave, it explains what the cave is in all of our lives. Some of us may have been born in the cave and still live in it today, watching the outside shadows but afraid to explore what its like to live free. The  cave is a challenge we all face in our lives and there is no questioning the outside is much better. The Inside of the cave is a mediocre, risk free environment that never allows you to accomplish your goals. The outside of the cave is for those who are working toward success in their every day lives.
